Caviar Storage
The date of production can be found on the bottom of each can. The caviar will remain
fresh for eighteen months from that date, if left unopened and refrigerated at temperatures
below 32ºF (0ºС). If stored at higher temperatures, the freshness period diminishes
and if stored at temperatures higher than 37ºF (3ºС), it can spoil. We do not recommend
storing caviar in the freezer, but rather the coldest part of the refrigerator,
which is often the meat compartment. Once a can is opened, it must remain stored
in the refrigerator as freshness may only last several days due to bacterial contamination.
To avoid this, it is best to only serve caviar with a clean utensil and prevent
foreign food particles, such as breadcrumbs, from entering the can. The plastic
lids that are provided with each can help with this.

We recommend storing caviar in the coldest part of your refrigirator (usually in the meat section), but not in the freezer.
